A spokesperson for the Iran-aligned Houthis in Yemen accused Saudi Arabia on Monday of carrying out airstrikes targeting Sanaa International Airport and said the kingdom would bear the consequences of its attack.
“This aggression will not pass without a response and punishment,” Houthi military spokesperson Yahya Saree said on the Telegram channel, describing the attack as “bringing an end to the de-escalation phase” in his group’s confrontation with Riyadh.
