How father chose my stepmother over me — Charles Inojie

Nollywood actor Charles Inojie has spoken up on his upbringing, recounting a personal and emotional time in his childhood.

The actor, while speaking during an interview, revealed that his biological father chose his stepmother over him after an ultimatum was set.

Charles disclosed that the woman in question had forced his father to make a difficult choice, leading to his dismissal from the home. He added that he only lived with his father for 8 months during his childhood.

“In all my life, I’ve only lived with my father for eight months as his child. From the moment I moved in, it was trouble every single day. My stepmother told my father to choose between me and her, and he chose her. When I finally got admission into the university, she insisted I should wait for her own child to grow so we could attend together — a child I’m 18 years older than,” he recounted
