Nollywood actress Motilola has credited her senior colleague, Femi Adebayo, for settling the rift between her and her boss, Kunle Afod.
In a recent interview, she revealed that her conflict with Kunle was so painful and that she felt saddened to have brought it to social media.
She said Femi Adebayo helped them resolve the issue, and she discovered that people were taking advantage of the situation to feed them things. Motilola testified that Femi Adebayo is a good and peaceful man who hates drama.
“The major conflict that I had with someone I respect a lot was really painful for me. It degenerated to the point where I had to go on social media to call names. It was painful for me to get to that point.
Somebody I respect a lot stepped up and told me to resolve it. We discovered that some people were taking advantage of the situation to feed us things.
Shout-out to Femi Adebayo for helping us put things over. He is a peaceful, good person who doesn’t like wahala.
Issues between me and my boss, Kunle Afod, have been resolved. God has helped us to resolve things”.
Refreshing your memory, in 2024, the Yoruba actress topped headlines after she called out Kunle Afod and his wife, Desola, for sabotaging her career. She narrated how Desola slandered her on social media, making numerous allegations which she never committed. She pleaded with Kunle to desist from defaming her, as she was no longer interested in having a relationship with him.
In another post, she opened up about how they tried to shake her and thought she was spiritually, physically and emotionally shaken. Still, she’s grateful to God for helping her through.
In 2021, the Yoruba actress announced her divorce from her air force husband, Mr Adekunle. The movie star said their decision to split was best for both of them as it involved no anger or violence, and was reached by consensus.
Despite splitting up, she said their duties as parents to their two children remained intact.
Following the announcement, reports claimed that the major reason why her marriage crashed was because of her extramarital affairs with her colleague, Kunle Afod. According to Gistlover, Kunle’s wife found out about their affair, exposed them and claimed that Afod was the father of Motilola’s last child because of their striking resemblance. Gistlover said Motilola’s husband heard about it and decided to abandon her and the children.
In an interview with Biola, Motilola, shed light on why she announced her divorce from her husband. She recalled how a blogger threatened to expose, and as one who can’t be blackmailed, she beat the blogger to it. The mother of two, slammed those who shame women over their crashed marriage as she noted how no woman, goes into a marriage, with the intention of leaving.
