A landmark agreement signed in Madrid marks the export of the national jet trainer, deepening defence co-operation between Türkiye and Spain. Under the project, HURJET deliveries are set to begin in 2028 and enter training use by 2029–30, with a total of 30 aircraft expected in Spain’s inventory by 2035.
