A post by a Nigerian lady about her experience after purchasing a book by the roadside has gone viral online.
In a post on her X handle, @Deseoye, the lady disclosed that she found ₦50,000 inside a book she purchased by the roadside in Lagos.

Upon the discovery, she considered keeping the money and eventually visited the place where she purchased the book the following day.
However, the seller was overwhelmed with emotion and offered her part of the money, which she declined.
According to the lady, the seller informed her that the money belonged to his deceased son and he was initially unaware of it.
”As I was leaving, he said something I’ll never forget: People think money is the most valuable thing. But today, you returned a memory.I walked away feeling richer than ₦50,000″, She stated, recounting her visit.
