The 28-year-old artist, while speaking in a recent interview with Kiss Xtra, made vows to build systems that would change the world. Omah Lay boasted of his musical talent, stating that he would be the wealthiest African artist in a few years to come.

The singer also opened up on his love and need for creating art, revealing that he constantly needs t create art to feel good.

“I am crazy. My head is not correct. I need to create art to feel good. I am going to be the wealthiest African artiste ever in a few years. I am going to build stuff that would change the world. I have my idols. Wizkid, Burna Boy, Drake, The Weeknd, and Harry Styles are my idols. These are people I look up to musically,” he stated.
