A Nigerian lady has recounted the circumstances that led to her accidentally consuming kerosene after arriving from school.
In a widely circulated X post, she disclosed that the incident remains etched in her memory, as it stemmed from thirst.
Lady Consumes Kerosene After Retuning From School
Identified as @PeculiarpearlE on X (formerly Twitter), she drank kerosene, assuming it was water.
Afterwards, she collapsed, which was the final moment she recalled.
Meanwhile, neighbours rushed her to a nearby hospital, where her recovery took a short while.
Due to the incident, her mother never bought kerosene or stored it inside a keg again.
Reflecting on her ordeal, the lady expressed gratitude for surviving.
“I eventually became fine.
Ever since that day, my mum never bought or stored kerosene inside a keg again.
I’m just grateful to God for life”, She added.
