A presidential aspirant in the African Democratic Congress (ADC), Mohammed Hayatu-Deen, has disclosed his intention to snub the party’s election results announcement.
Naijaonpoint reports that the ADC held its presidential primaries across Nigeria on Monday, with results expected to be officially announced today.
Reports have emerged claiming former Vice President Atiku Abubakar is currently leading in results that have been declared so far in some states.
In a post on social media, Hayatu-Deen wrote: “I will not be attending the announcement of the ADC Presidential Election Results today.
“I am concerned by reports from across the country of widespread vote rigging, some of which I myself observed, and will therefore be taking advice on my next steps.”
