Chioma Ifemeludike, the African Action Congress (AAC) governorship candidate in Anambra State’s November 8 election, has declared herself a winner, regardless of formally receiving simply 292 votes.
The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) declared Chukwuma Soludo of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) the winner with 422,664 votes, whereas Nicholas Ukachukwu of the All Progressives Congress (APC) secured 99,445 votes to put second.
Addressing her supporters on X on Sunday, November 9, Ifemeludike stated, “Integrity stands firm and higher than political deception. I’m a winner!”
She described her consequence as a symbolic triumph in a political enviornment dominated by bigger events.
The candidate, who drew consideration throughout her marketing campaign for her unconventional images and movies, expressed satisfaction with how the election was carried out, noting the absence of malpractice in her polling areas.

Earlier within the marketing campaign, she gained headlines for a controversial marketing campaign photograph and her look on Channels Television’s Politics Today, the place she outlined her imaginative and prescient for safety reform within the state.
If elected, she pledged to disband the Agunechemba safety outfit, which has confronted criticism.
“Restructuring security is a priority. My focus is on ensuring that safety measures serve the people and not partisan interests,” she stated.
