Social media influencer and content creator Brianna Johnson, popularly known as DreamDoll Bri, has died after she was shot while leaving a party in Miramar, police have confirmed.
According to the Miramar Police Department, the shooting occurred at about 5:30 a.m. on Sunday July 5th as Johnson and two other occupants were travelling in a fluorescent green Lamborghini SUV. Police said gunfire was directed at the vehicle before it travelled about a block and crashed into a stop sign.
Officers responded to the scene after receiving a ShotSpotter alert and found the three occupants suffering from critical gunshot injuries. They were transported to nearby hospitals, where Johnson later died from her injuries.
Miramar Police Chief Delrish Moss said investigators are working to determine whether the Lamborghini was deliberately followed before the attack. “Certainly they targeted this particular car for some reason,” Moss said. “We’re trying to figure out why.” He added that detectives have limited information about the suspect and are continuing efforts to establish the shooter’s identity and motive.
Johnson built a substantial following on social media through lifestyle content and music. She was best known for her viral song Bend Ova, which became widely used on TikTok, amassing more than 370,000 followers on the platform and over 85,000 followers on Instagram. She was 21 years old. Police said the investigation remains ongoing, and no arrests have been announced.
