A woman has sparked widespread discussion online after sharing details of the challenges she claims to have endured in her marriage, including financial struggles, emotional pain, and a prolonged lack of intimacy with her husband.
The woman made the remarks while explaining why she finds it difficult to forgive her husband despite remaining committed to the marriage.
According to her, she contributed significantly to the family’s assets and believes she played a major role in acquiring the properties currently owned by the household.
She further alleged that her husband often withheld information about his earnings from her, even though he worked in a well-paying job.
The woman also claimed that financial support from him was limited, forcing her to supplement household expenses from her own resources.
Financial and marital challenges
While recounting her experience, the woman said the situation affected several aspects of her life, including her health.
She explained that concerns about her wellbeing eventually led her to seek medical attention.
Speaking on the impact of the marriage on her emotional state, she said:
“As I dey here so, wetin my husband do me, if no be God I no sure say I fit forgive am. As I dey now if I wan buy something of N400 he will give me N50 and I will add to it.”
Refusal to leave the marriage
Despite her grievances, the woman maintained that she has no intention of ending the marriage. She insisted that she would neither leave the relationship nor engage in another relationship outside it.
