Former Borno State Governor, Ali Modu Sheriff, has alleged that Peter Obi supports the division of Nigeria, claiming the former Anambra State governor believes in the Biafra cause.
Sheriff also alleged that Obi has never publicly condemned the Biafra movement or the Indigenous People of Biafra, adding that Obi should clearly state whether he supports or opposes the country’s division.
The former governor made the remarks while expressing his views on Nigeria’s political landscape.
Peter Obi has previously stated on multiple occasions that he supports a united Nigeria founded on equity, justice, and fairness.
