After copies of the ruling handed by Justice Isah Dashen of the federal high court, Lokoja leaked online, famous human rights campaigner and former chair of the national human rights commission Chidi Odinkalu reacted.
The Judge gave himself the authority to reject the Nigeria Democratic Congress, NDC, according to remarks he posted on his official X Twitter on July 4, 2026. You may remember that Justice Isah Dashen was in the news not long ago for all the wrong reasons: he decreed the NDC’s de-recognition due to a logo disagreement with the Peace Movement Party (PMP).
