Kano State Governor, Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf, on Tuesday, swore in Hon. Murtala Sule Garo as the new Deputy Governor, in a ceremony held at the Government House.
SolaceBase reports that the oath of office was administered by the Chief Judge of the state, Justice Dije Abdu Aboki, in the presence of top government officials, lawmakers, traditional rulers, and party stakeholders.

Among dignitaries at the event were former Kano State Governor, Abdullahi Umar Ganduje; former Governor Ibrahim Shekarau; Deputy Senate President Barau Jibrin; and the 16th Emir of Kano, Muhammadu Sanusi II, among others.
