A Nigerian returnee from South Africa, Chikezie Igwe, has revealed how a friend who refused to return home was killed during recent anti-migrant protests in South Africa.
Igwe told News Central TV that he had urged his friend, who lived in Tembisa, to take advantage of evacuation flights arranged by the Nigerian government. He said, “I have a friend who lives in Tembisa and I told him let’s come back home.
