In a recent interview on Symfoni TV, on Sunday, June 21, 2026, Afam Ogene, member of the House of Representatives representing Ogbaru Federal Constituency of Anambra State, discussed political dynamics in Anambra State during the tenure of former Governor Peter Obi and the evolving structure of political support groups in Nigeria.
Ogene argued that debates around Peter Obi’s leadership style often reflect differing interpretations of his time in office and the political environment in Anambra State at the time.
