The Kano Central senatorial aspirant, Abdussalam Abdulkarim Zaura, has lost his father, Alhaji Abdulkarim Saleh Zaura, who passed away at the age of 108 after a prolonged illness.
SolaceBase reports that the centenarian died in the early hours of Sunday.
He is survived by six children, grandchildren, and other extended family members.

His funeral prayer is scheduled to take place at 1:00 p.m. in Zaura town, Ungogo Local Government Area of Kano State.
AA Zaura was the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate for Kano Central Senatorial in the 2023 general elections and is currently contesting again for the same seat.
