Ahmed Yusuf Doro,the member representing Bindawa/Mani Federal Constituency of Katsina State, at the House of Assembly, has defected from the All Progressives Congress (APC) to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
The Speaker, Abbas Tajudeen, read the member’s letter of defection during Thursday’s plenary.

In the letter, the lawmaker said his decision followed extensive consultations with his constituents, expressing confidence that the move would enable him to better represent their interests.
He also reaffirmed his commitment to the legislative agenda of the 10th House of Representatives.
