Kenyan chef and digital content creator Dorky Dorcas has allegedly burnt her Guinness World Records certificate, citing relentless online harassment.

In a video circulating on social media, Dorcas claimed the certificate had brought her “so much hate” and said persistent cyberbullying prompted her decision to set it on fire.

Burning the certificate, she said: “This certificate brings so much hate, pain.”

Dorcas gained international attention after successfully setting a Guinness World Records title for the fastest time to make three chapatis, completing the challenge in 2 minutes and 26 seconds.

Her record attempt, which turned the preparation of the popular East African flatbread into a race against the clock, drew widespread attention online.
