“Last cut before Liverpool” – Barcola’s barber appears to confirm £120m Liverpool transfer

Bradley Barcola’s barber has seemingly confirmed the Paris Saint-Germain winger is on his way to Liverpool ahead of a blockbuster £120million move to Anfield.

The 23-year-old France international is expected to travel to Merseyside this weekend for a medical as Liverpool close in on their marquee signing before Tuesday’s transfer deadline.

Barber posts ‘last cut’ before Liverpool move

Barcola’s long-time Paris-based barber, Enzo Dias, appeared to let the news slip on Instagram after sharing photos of the winger’s latest haircut.

Dias captioned one post: “Last cut before Liverpool”, before following it up with another message saying: “Last ride for @bradley_dls before he leaves.”

The barber later shared a picture of Barcola’s PSG shirt hanging in his studio alongside a message thanking his client.

Barcola set for Anfield switch

Liverpool have pursued Barcola throughout the summer and now appear to be closing in on a deal for the highly rated winger.

Barcola joined PSG from Lyon in 2023 and has established himself as one of the club’s key attacking players. He has made 152 appearances for the French champions, scoring 39 goals and providing 37 assists.

The forward has also collected an impressive haul of silverware, including three Ligue 1 titles and two Champions League trophies.

However, he has been left out of Luis Enrique’s squad amid mounting speculation over his future after being an unused substitute in PSG’s UEFA Super Cup victory earlier this month.

Liverpool transfer could trigger Gakpo move

Barcola’s arrival at Anfield could have consequences elsewhere in the transfer market, with Cody Gakpo potentially becoming available for sale.

Tottenham remain interested in the Liverpool forward, while Manchester City have also made an enquiry over his availability.

Liverpool’s potential signing of Barcola could therefore set off another late-window chain reaction as clubs scramble to complete their final deals before the transfer deadline.
