American rapper Curtis Jackson, popularly known as 50 Cent, has reacted to the alleged leaked video linked to music mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs and his former partner, Daphne Joy.
The G-Unit boss took to Instagram at the weekend after social media users began discussing an alleged video said to involve Diddy, Daphne Joy and adult film performer Sly Diggler.
The authenticity of the alleged video has not been independently verified.
Reacting to the controversy, 50 Cent first appeared to mock Diddy, who has been facing several legal and public controversies in recent months.
In another post, however, the rapper turned his attention to Daphne Joy, the mother of his son, Sire.
50 Cent said Daphne Joy was not the victim in the scandal, insisting that their son was the person most affected by the controversy.
“She’s not a victim, SIRE is. Can you imagine going to eighth grade to find out this is your mom,” he wrote.
The rapper also appeared to criticise the custody arrangement involving their son, adding: “The court system in LA thinks it’s fine.”
50 Cent’s reaction has added another twist to his long-running feud with Diddy.
The rapper has repeatedly mocked the Bad Boy Records founder since Diddy became engulfed in legal battles and public scrutiny.
50 Cent also produced the Netflix documentary, Sean Combs: The Reckoning, which drew major attention after its release.
The documentary reportedly recorded 21.8 million views on Netflix within six days.
Speaking recently on Good Morning America, 50 Cent denied that his involvement in the documentary was driven only by his long-standing feud with Diddy.
He said his discomfort with Diddy dated back many years, but insisted the issue was “not personal.”
The latest controversy has again pushed 50 Cent, Diddy and Daphne Joy into the centre of social media discussion.
