A lady has shared her dramatic encounter with a fellow bus passenger who allegedly pretended to be asleep to avoid paying his transport fare.
According to her account, every other passenger had paid the conductor, but the man reportedly remained quiet throughout the journey while appearing to be asleep.
As the bus approached its final stop, the lady alerted the conductor that the passenger had not paid. The conductor checked and reportedly discovered that she was correct, prompting the man to eventually make payment.
Passenger insults lady after paying fare
Rather than allowing the matter to end there, the lady claimed the passenger became angry and began insulting her for drawing the conductor’s attention to him.
She said, “Tell me why this guy started cussing me out after payment. I didn’t talk! Conductor dey cuss am back.”
According to her, she initially refused to respond despite the insults, but things took another turn after passengers alighted from the bus.
She recalled that the man called her a “mad woman“, adding that she finally reacted when he said, “Look at you, mad woman”.
Lady’s response causes unexpected scene
The woman said she immediately began shouting, “Tiffff oh! Ole oh! Tiffff, Tiffff, Tiffff oh!”
Her shouting reportedly attracted the attention of people nearby, causing the man to quickly leave the scene before a crowd could gather.
She claimed his sudden disappearance amused those who had witnessed what happened, as they understood why she had begun shouting.
The lady’s account has highlighted an unusual confrontation that began over an allegedly unpaid bus fare and ended with the passenger hurriedly leaving the area.
