Man Welcomes Friend Into His Home, Then Catches Him Red-Handed Trying to Sleep With His Girlfriend

A Nairobi woman has narrated how a trip to meet her online boyfriend for the first time ended with her spending five days in police custody.

The woman, identified as Queen, said she travelled from Nairobi to Eldoret to visit her boyfriend, referred to as John, arriving in the early hours of the morning after a night journey. Watch video here

The visit initially went well, with the couple spending time together at John’s bedsitter. Trouble began the following day when one of John’s friends called asking to be hosted for the night, and John agreed to let him stay.

Queen said John warned her the friend had previously been accused by other women of inappropriate behaviour, and asked her to wait outside while he bought alcohol for their guest.

Later that night, after the two men had been drinking and John had fallen asleep, the friend allegedly followed Queen to bed and tried to touch her inappropriately.

She said she pinched John to wake him, and he confronted his friend, striking him with alcohol bottles before throwing him out of the house in his underwear and withholding his belongings.

The next day, police arrived and arrested both Queen and John, accusing them of robbery with violence.

Queen said the situation escalated because the friend turned out to be the son of two police officers, leaving them unable to defend themselves. She said officers demanded Ksh 15,000 for their release.

The couple spent five days in custody before John’s mother secured their release on bail. Queen shared her ordeal on TikTok, where it has since sparked reactions from followers.
