Minister lauds smooth conduct, large turnout of APC members at primaries

Imeigba (Edo), May 23, 2026 (NAN) The Minister of Regional Development, Abubakar Momoh, says he is impressed with the smooth conduct and large turnout of members  at the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential primaries.

Momoh stated this at Ward 9, Imiegba in Etsako East Local Government Area of Edo on Saturday.

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that Momoh joined  other APC members in his Ward to affirm President Bola .Tinubu as the APC sole candidate for the 2027 presidential election.

The minister said the large turnout of party faithful showed that  people are happy with Tinubu’s administration and are ready to re-elect him.

“You can see today’s event is a smooth one and the people are appreciative of what the president has being doing.

“And you can see the turnout and it is as if we are into election and everybody here is for Mr President.

“In my ward here, my people are appreciative of what President  Tinubu is doing in the country with his Renewed Hope Agenda.

“My people are happy with Mr president for appointing me  into this position.

” On  the day of election,  you will see a massive turnout for Mr President, far more than this,” Momoh said. (NAN)
