The Minister of Works, Dave Umahi, has publicly addressed the controversy surrounding the recent de@th of his female staff, Mary Habila, at his Ebonyi residence.
While speaking to newsmen during a road inspection, Umahi, said the deceased and other workers lived in his guest house in Asokoro.
He expressed shock that some people have spun a wrong narrative about the whole incident.
“She also lived in a guest house in Asokoro where I stay alongside other workers.
Somebody, whose hell is reserved for, is giving an impression that ‘runs girls’ were transported to our residence. The lawyers have been briefed and will take on the people that are ev!l and think they’re f!ghting for the freedom of the country.
Because if you intentionally did it, the de@th of the young lady will be far far better than yours because everybody is called at the time of God. So, that lady was a worker of the Federal University Teaching Hospital seconded to our Ministry. The second lady is also a physiotherapist, seconded also to our Ministry…She is from Benue state, When you use the de@th of people to create content and deceive people, it means your time is up.
I have ordered that there must be an autopsy”’
