The Nasrul-Lahi-L-Fatih (NASFAT), in partnership with the Silver Lining for Women and Children Support Initiative, will on Tuesday unveil a humanitarian programme aimed at empowering women, supporting vulnerable children and strengthening families across communities.

According to a statement issued on Monday by NASFAT’s National Public Relations Secretary, Shamsideen Owolabi Oseni, the initiative is designed to provide sustainable support for widows, women, children and other vulnerable groups through advocacy, empowerment programmes and strategic interventions.

The organisers said the launch coincides with the commemoration of International Widows’ Day and is intended to promote resilience, inclusion and community-driven solutions that improve the welfare and livelihoods of women and families.

They added that the programme would serve as a platform for restoring hope, fostering economic empowerment and creating opportunities that contribute to stronger and more sustainable communities.

The unveiling ceremony is scheduled to take place on Tuesday, June 30, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at the Lagos State Secretariat Mosque Hall, Alausa, Ikeja.

NASFAT said stakeholders, community leaders, development partners, faith-based organisations, media practitioners and members of the public are expected to attend the event in support of efforts to improve the lives of women and children.
