The Nigerian Christian Pilgrim Commission (NCPC) has congratulated Vice President Kashim Shettima on his 60th birthday, describing him as a “detribulized Nigerian, a rare gem, and a gift to the nation.”
In a goodwill message issued on Wednesday, September 2, the Executive Secretary of the NCPC, Bishop Prof. Stephen Adegbite, congratulated the Vice President on attaining what he described as the “Diamond Jubilee age,” while thanking God for the grace and mercies that have sustained him to witness another year.
Bishop Adegbite said, “Gold is for life and Diamond forever,” as he celebrated Shettima’s milestone and prayed for continued divine guidance and blessings for the Vice President.
The NCPC helmsman particularly praised Shettima’s qualities, highlighting his candour, unwavering support and loyalty to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

He described the Vice President as a detribalised Nigerian whose contributions and commitment to the country deserve recognition, while commending his service to the nation.
Bishop Adegbite prayed that God would grant Shettima longevity and prosper him “politically, materially, and in all ramifications.”
He also prayed for the Vice President to enjoy sound health of mind and body so that he can continue with what he described as his “onerous assignment of serving the nation patriotically, effectively, and efficiently.”
The NCPC Executive Secretary wished Shettima “many happy returns” and prayed for continued success as he marks his 60th birthday.
