The Nigeria Export Processing Zones Authority (NEPZA) and 20 other Federal Government agencies have pledged to adopt the Revenue Optimisation and Assurance Platform (RevOP) and the Federal Treasury e-Receipt (FTe-R) as part of efforts to enhance transparency and accountability in government financial operations.
The Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of NEPZA, Olufemi Ogunyemi, disclosed this following a meeting held in Abuja on Tuesday between the Minister of Finance and Coordinating Minister of the Economy, Taiwo Oyedele, and chief executives of 21 affected agencies.
According to Ogunyemi, the agencies are committed to integrating the newly approved revenue monitoring platform, which was endorsed by the Federal Executive Council to curb financial leakages, prevent fraud, and strengthen transparency in public financial management.
Represented by the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Finance, Muhammed Sanusi, the minister explained that the platform was designed to provide comprehensive tracking of government revenues and expenditures.

He revealed that 31 Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAs) are already operating on the platform, while an additional 21 agencies are expected to be onboarded in the next phase.
“Twenty-one more agencies are to be captured next, as the government is working assiduously to achieve 100 per cent financial probity before the end of the year,” he said.

Speaking on NEPZA’s readiness, Ogunyemi said the authority was well-positioned for full compliance due to its existing digital financial management systems.
“We are encouraged and feel responsible to follow the RevOP. It is especially motivating to observe the president taking clear leadership and responsibility for this vital financial monitoring system, which will help push the administration’s Renewed Hope Agenda forward,” he said.
The Revenue Optimisation and Assurance Platform is part of the Federal Government’s broader efforts to improve revenue collection, eliminate financial irregularities, and promote transparency in the management of public funds.
