Newly Wedded Galamsey Couple Trends As They Organize Their Wedding In An Excavator

A newly wedded couple has become the talk of social media after choosing a rather unconventional mode of transport for their wedding day, an excavator, instead of the usual fleet of decorated cars typically seen on such occasions.

In photos and videos making rounds online, the couple can be seen seated comfortably on ornate golden chairs placed directly inside the bucket of the excavator, which had been beautifully decorated with red roses and greenery for the occasion.

Two security personnel stood on either side of them throughout the procession, holding umbrellas overhead to shield the couple from the sun as the excavator made its way through the streets, drawing crowds of onlookers along the route.

According to information gathered, the unusual choice was not simply for spectacle but held personal meaning for the couple.

The pair reportedly met at a galamsey, or illegal small-scale mining, site, where they are both said to be involved in the mining business.

Choosing the excavator, a machine closely associated with their line of work, appears to have been a deliberate nod to how their relationship began.

The eye-catching display has since sparked plenty of reactions online, with many praising the couple’s creativity and willingness to break away from tradition, while others found humour in the unexpected pairing of romance and heavy machinery.

Whatever the reaction, the couple’s memorable send-off has certainly given social media users plenty to talk about.
