Nigeria’s GDP Growth Rate Slows To 3.89%

The National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) has disclosed that Nigeria’s Gross Domestic Product (GDP) growth rate slowed to 3.89 percent year-on-year in real terms in the first quarter (Q1) of 2026.

This was disclosed in a statement on Monday by the NBS when it released its latest GDP report for Q1 2026.
