Odo Broni, widow of legendary highlife musician Daddy Lumba, has taken her tribute to her late husband a step further by getting a permanent portrait tattoo of him inked on her upper arm.
A video making rounds online, shared by Tina News GH, captures the moment a tattoo artist puts finishing touches to the artwork, which depicts Daddy Lumba’s face alongside the inscription “Ever in [our] hearts.”
Odo Broni, born Priscilla Ofori, was recognised by the Fosu family as Daddy Lumba’s wife following his death on July 26, 2025. He was laid to rest in Kumasi on December 13, 2025, after his final funeral rites, where Odo Broni delivered an emotional tribute affirming that no falsehood could diminish the love they shared.
The tattoo adds to a growing list of public gestures from Odo Broni keeping her late husband’s memory alive, nearly a year after his passing sent shockwaves through Ghana’s music industry and the nation at large.
