The Renewed Hope Neighbour to Neighbour has felicitated Nigeria’s First Lady, Oluremi Tinubu, on her 66th birthday.
In a birthday message signed by its National Coordinator, Belusochukwu Enwere, the organisation congratulated Mrs Tinubu and joined Nigerians and her well-wishers in marking the occasion.
The group, which described the First Lady as its Grand Patroness, said her public service had been marked by what it described as “compassion, courage and transformative leadership.”
It commended Mrs Tinubu for her advocacy and interventions focused on youth development and women empowerment.
According to the organisation, her initiatives had contributed to creating opportunities for young people and women while encouraging Nigerians to pursue their aspirations.
The group also said the First Lady’s patronage had strengthened the objectives of Renewed Hope Neighbour to Neighbour, which it said was founded on the belief that national development begins at the community level.
It said the initiative seeks to promote community support, protect vulnerable persons and equip young Nigerians with skills and opportunities to become productive members of society.
“Her support continues to remind us that leadership is measured not by titles, but by lives transformed,” the statement said.
The organisation further commended Mrs Tinubu for her advocacy in education, healthcare, economic inclusion and the welfare of the girl-child.
It also acknowledged what it described as her concern for the wellbeing of Nigerian families.
The group prayed for continued good health, strength and wisdom for the First Lady and wished her many more years of service to the country.
