Femi Fani-Kayode, Nigeria’s Ambassador to Germany, has dismissed the African Democratic Congress as a reputable opposition power, describing it as a gaggle motivated by a determined quest for political energy.
Speaking on the state of opposition politics in Nigeria, Fani-Kayode argued that the ADC is made up of people he considers discredited and incapable of advancing the nation’s progress.
He additional asserted that the opposition panorama within the nation has successfully collapsed.
Posting on his Facebook web page, the previous Aviation minister stated opposition events have failed of their main function of holding the federal government accountable, citing inside conflicts and disunity as main setbacks.
He criticized opposition figures for participating in infighting slightly than presenting a coordinated problem, including that their lack of cohesion has rendered them ineffective.
“I don’t see ADC as an opposition occasion: I see them as an affiliation of individuals which are determined for energy.
