Nana Otedola, the wife of billionaire businessman Femi Otedola, has spoken up regarding her origin, dismissing claims of being Ghanaian.
Nana, was seen in a video clip confirming her roots. She stated that she is from Abeokuta in Ogun State, stressing that she is a proud Egba woman.
”To clear the room for everybody, I’m an Egba woman, and that’s the part I’ll gladly claim as a Nigerian. I am not a Ghanaian; my roots are in Abeokuta,” she said.
She further explained that she was born in Kaduna State and lived there for nearly two decades.
“I was born in Kaduna and lived there for almost two decades. I go by the name Nana Fatima, given to me on my ‘Sunnah’ by my grandfather,” she added.
