Over Eight Hours of Heavy Rain Paralyse Movement, Business Activities in Rivers

Rivers State witnessed more than eight hours of nonstop rainfall on Thursday, with the heavy downpour affecting movement across Port Harcourt and disrupting business activities.

Several major roads recorded slow-moving traffic as commuters struggled to reach their destinations, while many businesses experienced low patronage or temporarily shut down due to the persistent rainfall. The prolonged downpour also caused flooding in some areas, making transportation difficult for residents across the state.
