Oyo State Government has introduced its readiness to implement ban of Sunday Trading at
on the Bola Ige International Business Complex, popularly often called Gbagi Market, Ibadan.
The Commissioner for Investment, Trade, Cooperatives and Industry, Hon. Adeniyi Adebisi said this on Thursday, in his Office at Secretariat Ibadan.
The Commissioner defined that the ban will curb rising insecurity and restore order on the market, including that the enforcement will take impact from Sunday, twenty seventh July 2025.
He hinted that the enforcement is a fruits of a collection of consultations and conferences held with market leaders and stakeholders over time.
Hon.
