The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has rolled out a 110-member organising committee as preparations collect tempo for its nationwide conference billed for November 15 and 16 in Ibadan, Oyo State.
Adamawa Governor Ahmadu Fintiri will lead the workforce as chairman, whereas Osun Governor Ademola Adeleke and Kabiru Turaki will function his deputies. Enugu Governor Peter Mbah has been appointed secretary.
PDP spokesperson Debo Ologunagba, in an announcement on Monday, August 18, mentioned the committee’s mandate is to coordinate all preparations and ship a seamless nationwide occasion.
“Sequel to the resolution of the national executive committee (NEC) to hold the 2025 elective national convention of our great party on Saturday, 15th to Sunday, 16th November, 2025 in Ibadan, the Oyo state capital, the following party members have been appointed as members of the 2025 national convention organising committee (main committee),” the assertion reads.
The listing of members is a mixture of get together heavyweights and serving governors.

It contains PDP Board of Trustees chairman Adolphus Wabara, performing nationwide chairman Umar Iliya Damagum, deputy nationwide chairman (south) Taofeek Arapaja, and nationwide secretary Samuel Anyawu.
Also named are former Vice-President Namadi Sambo, Bauchi Governor Bala Muhammed, Oyo Governor Seyi Makinde, Bayelsa Governor Douye Diri, Plateau Governor Caleb Muftwang, and suspended Rivers Governor Siminalayi Fubara.
Others are Taraba Governor Kefas Agbu, Zamfara Governor Dauda Lawal, former Kaduna Governor Mohammed Makarfi, former Senate President Bukola Saraki, and former Niger Governor Aliyu Babangida.
The unveiling of the organising committee follows the inauguration of a 44-member zoning committee final week.
