The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) governorship candidate for the 2027 Kwara State governorship election, Engineer Suleiman Bolakale Kawu, has officially received his Certificate of Return at the PDP National Secretariat in Abuja.
The presentation ceremony was conducted by the National Chairman of the party, Ambassador Abdulrahman Muhammed, who formally presented the certificate to the Kwara State governorship candidate in the presence of party leaders, stakeholders and supporters.
Speaking shortly after receiving the certificate, Engineer Kawu described the milestone as a reflection of the confidence reposed in him by the PDP and the people of Kwara State, while pledging to remain committed to the vision of building a better future for the state.

“Today, I officially received my Certificate of Return as the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate for the Kwara State governorship election. This milestone represents the trust of our great party, the support of our people and a renewed commitment to the journey ahead.
“I am deeply grateful for the confidence placed in me, and I remain committed to working with our party, our people and all stakeholders towards achieving a greater Kwara.
“Together, we move forward with renewed hope, unity and determination to deliver the progress and development our people deserve.”
The PDP candidate also expressed appreciation to the party leadership for the transparent process through which he emerged, assuring that his campaign and political engagements would be anchored on service, inclusiveness and the aspirations of the people of Kwara State.
The presentation of the Certificate of Return marks a significant milestone in Engineer Bolakale Kawu’s journey as the PDP standard-bearer for the forthcoming governorship election in Kwara State.
