Dumebi Kachikwu, the 2023 presidential candidate of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), has alleged that Peter Obi is already weighing his choices to exit the coalition platform shaped by the opposition.
Obi, who contested underneath the Labour Party (LP) in 2023, not too long ago joined different political figures to drift the ADC as a united coalition to problem the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) forward of the 2027 elections.
However, simply days after the launch, Obi declared his 2027 presidential ambition whereas nonetheless holding on to his LP membership.
Kachikwu, showing on Channels Television’s Sunday Politics, on Sunday, July 20, steered Obi had realised the coalition was by no means really for all contenders.

“The whole ADC structure is being packaged for the former Vice President Atiku Abubakar,” Kachikwu stated.
“Since I began warning folks about what is going on, we will see what is going on inside the coalition. Someone like Mr Peter Obi now understands that the entire coalition was packaged for Atiku Abubakar.
“From our understanding, what we are seeing now is that he is looking in other directions, and other people who aspire to run now realise that the coalition was indeed no coalition. It was just a vehicle for Atiku Abubakar’s ambition.”
He confused that the ADC wouldn’t be a software for Atiku’s 2027 run, warning that the subsequent election shouldn’t serve the pursuits of the political elite.
Kachikwu stated he would stay vocal in educating residents about their rights and the necessity to withstand political manipulation.
