Kano State Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf, his deputy, Murtala Sule Garo, and the 16^th

Fulani Emir of Kano, Muhammad Sanusi II, on Wednesday joined thousands of Muslim faithful for the Eid-el-Kabir prayer at the Kano Eid Ground, Kofar Mata, in Kano.

Emir Sanusi led the two-rakat Eid prayer and later delivered the Eid sermon, where worshippers gathered to mark the annual Islamic celebration.

SolaceBase reports that the Eid el-Kabir prayer attracted top government officials, traditional rulers and residents, who turned out in large numbers to observe the religious exercise.
