Police Arrest Four Suspected Drug Dealers in Yobe Raid

Four suspected drug dealers have been taken into custody by Yobe State Police Command agents in Kolere Village, Fune Local Government Area.

This was said in a statement released on Thursday and provided to DAILY POST in Damaturu by SP Dungus Abdulkarim, the Command’s Public Relations Officer.

The arrest was made after a coordinated operation by the Area Command, Potiskum, according to the PPRO. On Wednesday at around 1500 hours, police officers raided Borno Kichi Market, a well-known hiding place used by criminal gangs involved in drug trafficking and harboring criminal elements.

He said that several illegal substances were found and four suspected drug dealers were taken into custody during the operation.

“Tramadol capsules, other hard drug tablets, Indian hemp, and rubber solution known as “Sholi” are among the displays.

Hafizu Adamu, a 25-year-old man; Babale Idi, a 25-year-old man; Shuaibu Mohammed, a 35-year-old man; and Shuaibu Musa, a 22-year-old man, are the suspects detained.

According to SP Abdulkarim, “all the suspects are residents of Kolere Village, Fune LGA.”

He underlined that the investigation is still ongoing and that the accused would face appropriate charges in court.
