Femi Fani-Kayode, Nigeria’s ambassador-designate, has claimed that President Bola Tinubu supported Dele Momodu, writer of Ovation Magazine, for 4 many years.
Fani-Kayode made the declare in a press release on Thursday, urging Momodu to cease criticising Tinubu
This is coming after Momodu criticized the President throughout a tv interview.
Recall that Momodu within the interview on Channels Television, likened Tinubu’s fashion of governance to the dictatorship of former army Head of State, the late General Sani Abacha.
Responding, Fani-Kayode described the remark as misguided, uncharitable, and a mirrored image of a worrisome stage of cognitive dissonance.
He requested the chieftain of the African Democratic Congress, ADC, to henceforth desist from additional criticising the President, who he claimed fed and accommodated him for 40 years.
“Unlike Dele, I didn’t profit from him (Tinubu) for near 40 years, eat from his plate, acquire handouts from him.
“I did not stay in his house, claim to be his brother and yet refuse to support him in achieving his dream of becoming President,” Fani-Kayode stated.
