The body of a 11-year-old French girl whose disappearance last week set off national outrage has been found, a prosecutor said Friday.
“The victim’s identity has been confirmed through a DNA comparison,” said Olivier Naboulet, prosecutor in the southwestern city of Agen. The case has caused nationwide controversy as the main suspect in the death has been accused of sexually abusing other children.
