Raphinha scored twice as Barcelona maintained their perfect start to the season with a convincing 5-1 Champions League victory over Feyenoord.
The Barcelona captain needed only three minutes to open the scoring before adding another after the break, continuing his outstanding goalscoring form under Hansi Flick.
The Brazilian has now been directly involved in more Champions League goals than almost anyone since the start of the 2024-25 campaign, with only Bayern Munich striker Harry Kane ahead of him.
Raphinha continues impressive scoring run
Raphinha wasted no time putting Barcelona in front, brilliantly working his way past two Feyenoord defenders inside the penalty area before firing into the net following a touch from Lamine Yamal.
Dani Olmo soon tested the Feyenoord goalkeeper as Barcelona maintained their early dominance.
The hosts then doubled their advantage through Karim Adeyemi, who cut inside from the left before curling an excellent effort into the far corner from around 20 yards.
Feyenoord briefly threatened when they appealed for a penalty, while Joao Cancelo struck the post as Barcelona continued to create opportunities.
The Dutch visitors enjoyed more possession after the interval but struggled to turn it into clear chances.
Barcelona soon restored their attacking control when Pedri split the Feyenoord defence with a superb pass into Raphinha’s path. The Brazilian kept his composure and finished for his second goal of the night.
Yamal and Jesus complete Barcelona rout
Feyenoord appeared to have pulled one back when Nacho Ferri found the far corner after collecting a loose ball inside the area, but VAR ruled the effort out for offside.
There was also a memorable Champions League moment for 19-year-old Shaqueel van Persie, who came off the bench to make his debut in the competition for Feyenoord.
The teenager followed in the footsteps of his father Robin van Persie, who was also 19 when he made his Champions League debut for the Dutch club in 2002.
Barcelona added a fourth late in the match when Yamal’s dipping free-kick somehow found its way through the wall and into the net.
Feyenoord finally had a goal to celebrate when Sem Steijn turned in Goncalo Borges’ low cross.
However, Barcelona had the final say as Gabriel Jesus marked his arrival from Arsenal with a goal just two minutes after coming off the bench.
The Brazilian nodded home to complete a dominant victory and extend Barcelona’s flawless start to the campaign.
