Russian strikes killed at least nine people across Ukraine and wounded more than two dozen others, Ukrainian officials have said.
Five people were killed in the central city of Dnipro when a Russian missile hit a private business, while three were killed in a drone attack on a minibus in the southern city of Zaporizhzhia, according to authorities on Monday.
A guided bomb attack on the northern city of Kharkiv killed a 23-year-old woman and wounded 10 other people, the city’s mayor said.
In Dnipro, 28 were wounded — four in a critical condition, regional governor Oleksandr Ganzha said.
“People have traumatic brain injuries, shrapnel wounds, fractures, and blast trauma,” he added.
Ukraine’s national police force posted photos showing paramedics tending to the wounded under the bright sun.
