A Ghanaian socialite, Nana Hoahi has made explosive allegations linking the alleged shooting of former Dome-Kwabenya MP Sarah Adwoa Safo to her brother, Nana Kwadwo Safo Akofena, citing a prior incident in which he allegedly assaulted their late father, Apostle Kwadwo Safo Kantanka.
Nana Hoahi Bonso, who describes himself as someone with close ties to prominent pastors, prophets and chiefs, made the claim publicly, alleging that Nana Kwadwo Safo Akofena once visited their father’s residence, removed him, and allegedly ordered his associates to assault him after discovering his name had been excluded from the late inventor’s will.
“Nana Kwadwo Safo Akofena used to beat his father back then, so I won’t be surprised if he ordered his boys to fire at Hon. Sarah Adwoa Safo,” Bonso stated.
The allegations are serious and entirely unverified. No evidence has been presented publicly connecting Nana Kwadwo Safo Akofena to the alleged shooting, and he has not been named as a suspect by the Ghana Police Service, which has yet to issue a comprehensive statement on the incident.
The claims appear to stem from what may be an inheritance or succession dispute within the Safo Kantanka family following the death of the late Apostle, who founded the Safo Kantanka Group of Companies.
