Lagos State Governor, Mr Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has congratulated the Elegushi of the Ikate-Elegushi Kingdom, His Royal Majesty, Oba Saheed Ademola Elegushi, Kusenla III, on the event of his fifteenth coronation anniversary.
Governor Sanwo-Olu, in a press release issued on Sunday by his Particular Adviser on Media and Publicity, Mr Gboyega Akosile, stated the reign of Oba Ademola Elegushi, the twenty first Elegushi of the Ikate-Elegushi Kingdom, has introduced peace, progress and improvement to the area.
The governor stated Oba Elegushi is an epitome of dedication and selflessness in group service, contemplating how he has reworked his kingdom inside 15 years to develop into a vacation spot of selection for actual property improvement and leisure, leisure and hospitality.
He stated: “On behalf of my spouse, Ibijoke, and household, the federal government, and the folks of Lagos State, I congratulate the Elegushi of the Ikate-Elegushi Kingdom, His Royal Majesty, Oba Saheed Ademola Elegushi, Kusenla III, on his fifteenth coronation anniversary.
“Oba Saheed Ademola Elegushi is a visionary and vibrant monarch who has distinguished himself in group service as a dedicated, devoted, selfless and passionate chief and conventional ruler.
“I wish to applaud Oba Elegushi over his improvement insurance policies within the Ikate-Elegushi Kingdom. The folks of the dominion are fortunate to have a devoted, loving and caring monarch as their conventional ruler. So, he deserves all of the accolades for the impactful and purposeful life that he has lived, particularly within the final 15 years of his reign.
“Since ascending the throne of his forefathers 15 years in the past, Oba Elegushi has displayed exemplary management in his area. I commend his ardour and dedication to the expansion and improvement of Ikate-Elegushi as conventional ruler and the State as a member of the Lagos State Council of Obas and Chiefs, which performs a vital position in governance, mobilising group assist for insurance policies, and serving as a hyperlink between the authorities and native communities.
