Sarz opens up on how ego affected his career

Nigerian record producer Osabuohien Osaretin, popularly known as Sarz, has spoken on the effect of ego on his career and relationships with colleagues.

While speaking during an interview with The Fadar, Sarz explained that he used to be very hot headed and egoistic. He admitted that he made presumptions about his colleagues, stating that he felt bigger than most of them.

Sarz stressed how his mindset affected his career, explaining that he found it hard to work with his colleagues and learn from them.

“When I started making music, I was very hot-headed. I really wanted to impress everybody. I just thought I was the best thing to exist in music. But now I understand that I don’t know it all. I’m always willing to learn from anyone—even someone that just started yesterday,” he said.
