Manchester City winger Savinho is open to leaving the club this summer, with Tottenham Hotspur emerging as a possible destination for the Brazil international.
The 22-year-old has attracted interest from Spurs, who are looking to strengthen their attack under head coach Roberto De Zerbi, while City are aware of the growing interest in the former Girona winger.
Talks over a potential move are understood to be progressing, with Savinho keen to secure regular first-team football ahead of the new season.
Spurs revive long-term interest
Tottenham previously explored a move for Savinho before his transfer to Manchester City in 2024, but City were not prepared to let him leave at the time.
After joining from sister club Troyes for a reported £30.8 million, Savinho signed a contract extension until 2031 and featured regularly during his first campaign at the Etihad Stadium.
However, his opportunities became more limited last season as competition for places increased following the arrivals of Rayan Cherki and Antoine Semenyo.
Savinho made 36 appearances in all competitions during Pep Guardiola’s final season in charge but found it difficult to establish himself as a regular starter.
City include winger in tour squad
Despite his desire to leave, Savinho has been included in Manchester City’s 28-man squad for their pre-season tour of Asia.
New manager Enzo Maresca has selected a youthful group, although several senior players are also part of the travelling squad.
Jack Grealish is among the notable absentees as he continues his recovery from a stress fracture suffered during his loan spell at Everton last season. England goalkeeper James Trafford has also been left out as he closes in on a permanent move to Leeds United.
Players involved in the latter stages of the 2026 FIFA World Cup, including Rodri, have not travelled, with the Spain midfielder continuing his rehabilitation following back surgery.
Manchester City will begin their pre-season schedule against Inter Milan in Hong Kong before facing the K League All Stars in South Korea and Atletico Madrid later in the tour.
