Funmi Adelakun, the daughter of a veteran Nigerian gospel singer, Joseph Adelakun, has cried out over being monitored by her father.

Funmi, in a video shared by Megatestimony, claimed that her father was holding her hostage and maltreating her. She also pleaded with the pubic to intervene and help her regain her freedom, adding that she will explain better when she has the chance.

“Good day everyone, my name is Funmi Adelakun. What I need is your help, please help me beg my father to set me free. I need my freedom because what is happening now is very deep. I need my freedom, they should stop monitoring me, and try to have access to things about me. This has been going on for a long time. I need my freedom and this is the height of it. I will explain better soon,” she said.

The televangelist, Joseph Adelakun, is however, yet to respond to the claims.
